In case you've been living under a Xbox and don't already know, Super Metroid released for the Wii's Virtual Console today. This will be my first Virtual Console download... once I get myself a retro controller, but just because I'm picky doesn't mean you have to be, because as long as you have a GameCube controller you can still play the game.
See for yourself if it is indeed the greatest Metroid, and perhaps one of the greatest games of all time, but make sure you'll still have enough money to buy Metroid Prime 3 when it comes out next week. Just remember that's two awesome games for less than the price of ONE Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 game!
