If this had been back in the GameCube era, we wouldn't have seen a Mario, Metroid, and Smash Bros. game all in the same year. It would have been one a year with the rest of these games trickled in between. Don't mistake this as complaining, I am not complaining in anyway. I love Nintendo's aggressive new strategy. Unlike in the past when we would have to wait several months in between big game releases now we'll have plenty to keep our hands full.
This could seal the deal for Nintendo to push even further away from Sony and catch up with and perhaps even surpass(?) the 360. It could happen with all these system selling games. As it stands now I'm going to be forking out $450 and it could be more if some of the other games turn out better than I expect. Also remember that's not including all the DS games I wanted to purchase and that Nintendo hasn't even revealed release dates for!
While this is fantastic news, it's not for me personally because I might need to get a second job.
